Maoming Company, under the group of Sino-petrochemical, has successfully developed a new type of intermediate bulk container (IBC) TR580M, which makes a breakout in China. An Intermediate bulk container (IBC) is a container used for transportation and storage of fluids and bulk materials. The construction and capacity of the container are chosen depend on ISO standard.
The advantages of the IBC concept:
* They are generally cubic in form and therefore can transport and storage more material in the same area than cylindrically shaped container. (circa 35%)
* Hence, the cost of storage and transportation will be largely reduced.
* It can ship and store bulk chemical including hazardous material or dangerous goods if the IBC is proven suitable.
